We have very exciting news that is just starting to spread across the island! A new condominium has been proposed for Kihei and was just approved for build. It will be a 39 unit, three and four-story hotel-condominium project across from Kamaole Beach Park II off of South Kihei Road.
There are six different designs for floor plans, from 780 square feet and ranging to just under 1,500 square feet with options of two or three bedrooms. The developer has said that all units will have a private lanai between 100 and 300 square feet, which will be PERFECT for those amazing South Maui sunsets. The great thing about South Maui is that you usually get a clear shot of sunsets as the sun dips into the ocean. Other areas of the island don’t get this, but you will by staying in Kihei and Wailea. Unlike many Lanais, which can only be accessed from the living rooms, the floor plan of this complex will allow instant access from the living room AND double master bedroom.
There will be 39 units, as well as a common area for all guests, an infinity swimming pool, spa, barbecue pavilion, covered recreational facilities, exercise rooms, and two elevators into each building. In addition to the 39 units, Nani Loa will have a common area, which will include a swimming pool, spa, covered recreational facilities, a barbecue, exercise rooms, manager’s office and two elevators. As assessment was conducted that decided 4,400 more rooms were needed in South Maui by 2030 for visitors as tourism increases, and Nani Loa will help with this goal.
